FB Ad with promo vs without promo

Recently I run an ad for a certain local food establish. Here is the ad.

Slide1

The first ad as show in the photo above features the product only. It just says to try the food. While the other ad tells a message that there is a promo. Using the same images and almost the same headline.

Here is the result.

Slide2

The first ad run for 4 days. The result showed 94 post engagement: 62 likes, 3 comments and 1 share. It has a total impression/reach of 1,271 and a cost per  engagement of 1.40 pesos per post engagement.

The 2nd ad run for 2 days. It reached also a total of 94 post engagement: 71 likes, 1 comment and 1 share. It has a total impression of 1,411 and a 1.26 pesos per post engagement.

Hence, based on this ad, there is a higher response rate of audience when you present an offer or a promo rather than saying a certain fact that its the best in town.

Perhaps when you tell the people about the promo they will more likely to avail of the product than just merely saying that its the best in town.
